The First Fixer - Newport House

22 Shaw Street, Newport, Maine

This project has been a dream come true for the Hobbies to Homes family. We only hope it can be the same for its next owners. What started as a home that was out of date and run down can now proudly be A Place To Call Your Own.

Walls came down. The roof went up. Below are the rooms as we found them, the work in progress, and where the house ended up.

The Plan

Where this house was headed. Drawings first, so you know what you are looking at.

How We Found It

Every one of these rooms came apart before it came back together.

Photographs of the house as we found it are on their way.

The Work So Far

Progress as it happened, in the order it happened.

Nothing to show here yet. We photograph as we go, so this section fills up as the work moves along. Check back regularly to see some progress!

Have a house like this?

We take on a small number of renovations each year. If you are weighing one up, we are happy to walk it with you.
